I’ll be presenting at the Workshop for Innovative Computer-based Music Interfaces (ICMI) hosted at Mensch und Computer (MuC) in Chemnitz, Germany this year! After a beta stage that lasted across three major collaborations since 2022, I’ll be debuting my qFlo software to the public at the conference.
My sincerest gratitude to Liann as well as performers Esther and Jack for our collaborations across three amazing works by Liann that provided the setting for earliest versions of my software and taught me many lessons that I have incorporated throughout its research and development. Feedback from composer and performer alike has been immense in driving the development of many of its key features.
Works and performers that contributed to the qFlo beta stage:
- Images (2022–) performed by Jack Thorpe
- I. Blue Air (2022)
- II. Traces (2023)
- Emille (2024) performed by Esther Lee
- L’amour pur (2024) performed by Liann Kang
